1 Corinthians 9:19-23 - Embrace Change For The Gospel.

With the prices at the gas pump hitting record highs, lawnmowers being outlawed in California, and empty store shelves while hundreds of container ships float off the California coast, the last thing we want is more change. The church feels like it is the one place that should be safe from change. As we turn to 1 Corinthians 9, we find the Bible telling us we must change. Join us as we learn how we must change for the sake of the gospel.

Luke 15:1-10 - We Are 4 The 1 Who Is Lost.

This week the remains of Brian Laundrie were found in Florida. The feverish hunt for Brian revived the search for many others who have gone missing. Unfortunately, most are never found. On the rare occasion when people are saved, it is one of the greatest joys a family can experience. This weekend we begin a series on CrossWind’s 5-Year Vision. We will learn how much joy God experiences when someone far from God is saved and comes home.

2 Timothy 2:8-13 - The Reward Is Worth The Sacrifice

Last week Tom Brady and the Buccaneers celebrated another Super Bowl victory. While Tom and the players on his team are skilled at football, a Super Bowl victory doesn’t come without hard work and sacrifice. The reward of a Super Bowl championship makes all the sacrifice worth it. As Christians, when we share the gospel, we will be met with resistance by a world that is opposed to Christ and His kingdom. The good news is God promises to reward those who faithfully share the Good News. Join us this weekend as we learn why the reward of sharing the gospel is always worth the sacrifice.

2 Timothy 1:9-18 - Guarding The Gospel

One of a soldier’s highest honors is to stand guard at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. If you have visited Arlington National Cemetery, you know how seriously each sentinel takes his duty. The tomb of the Unknown Soldier has been guarded 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since 1937. No matter the weather the sentinels guard the tomb. Even in September 2003 during Hurricane Isabel, the sentinels kept guard. This week we look at an honor greater than guarding the Unknown Soldier’s tomb. We have the honor of guarding the gospel message. Nothing is more precious. Nothing is more valuable. Nothing is worth standing for more than the honor of speaking the truth of what God has done for us through Jesus. Join me as we learn how to guard the true gospel and to avoid being pressured into believing a false one.

Philippians 1:12-18 - Nothing Can Stop The Gospel?

As the pandemic continues, it appears more damage is being done to people's lives by social distancing than by the virus. Graduating seniors don't get to enjoy open house parties. Large wedding are reduced to a bride, groom, parents and a pastor. Businesses are shut down and struggling to survive. A virus has stopped everything. The good news is that there is one thing this virus can't stop. That is the gospel. It is when Christians are most constrained that the gospel grows best. Join us as we discover the unstoppable life-transforming power of the gospel.

Philippians 1:1-11 - Joy In Loneliness

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, our nation struggles as they are stuck at home. While phone calls and Zoom video chat help us stay connected, we are still lonely. Nothing can replace face to face conversation. More people are struggling with loneliness than the virus. Loneliness is not exclusive to the pandemic. Even before the COVID-19, 40 percent of Americans considered themselves lonely. Social media relationships are up, but real relationships are down. How do we solve the problem of loneliness? Where can we find deep and satisfying relationships? Join us as the Apostle Paul introduces us to a different kind of relationship called gospel partnerships. These are relationships than deeper and more fulfilling than anything ordinary friendships can offer.

Mark 4:1-20 - The Parable Of The Soils

Hebrews 4:15 tells us Jesus was tempted in every way as we are, yet he did not sin. Because Jesus was a fully human virgin male, we can safely assume that some of the temptations he faced were sexual in nature. Jesus never gave in to those temptations. He is our sinless and perfect God.

Mark 2:18-22 - Jesus Is Exclusive

One of the popular bumper stickers today says, "Coexist." The purpose of the bumper sticker is to encourage all religions to just work together because they are just different ways of worshiping the same God. Is that true? According to Jesus, the good news Jesus proclaimed can not coexist but it insists on being the exclusive way to be forgiven of our sin and know God.

The Love of Christ Compels Us To No Longer Live For Ourselves

FINGERPRINT - Culture

In this series, we cover seven core values that drive the Faith Church experience. Our seventh core value is culture. Many churches encourage you to escape culture and condemn it. You are encouraged to live in separation from the world. At Faith, we encourage the opposite. We want to engage culture and redeem it for the glory of Christ. Join us as we explain why we are heading in the opposite direction.

FINGERPRINT - Gospel

At Faith Church, what can you expect? In this series, we cover seven core values that drive the Faith Church experience. We want them felt across all campuses. Our third core value is we believe it is the simple gospel message that has the power to change lives and grow the church. The simple gospel message is in short supply. A survey from LifeWay Resources of 450 American sermons randomly pulled from across the country revealed only 6% contained the entire gospel message. A natural strategy is to use anything in place of the Gospel to grow the church. At Faith, we believe the power to change lives and grow the church is in of the simple message of the gospel.
